Opinions wanted on stippling attempt

Looks good for a first attempt. Neatness is over rated! However if that’s what you want for the edges I’d suggest lining up a piece of tape and using it as a guide.

Gents,

what tip are you using on your soldering iron?

I have been tempted for a while to do my tan coloured WE G17 ,  but a bit concerned of possible colour change when the heat gets to it ?

 
I used a normal round one that I ground into a sharp point. Top tip, high heat and don’t press too hard or too long. I’ve found WE plastic is a bit more forgiving and nicer to work with than TM style hard plastic. 

Oh oh and make sure you prep the surface first.

do you mean getting rid of the waffle style pattern on the grip?
