I've given up giving pistol advice. I think you should buy a horrendous piece of crap .Rave about how great it is, then realize it's crap once it starts to inevitably flag. Then open another thread asking for advice on your next pistol. Buy another piece of crap. Rince ,repeat.

I think my WE 226 has had a damn good innings, and it’s not crap by any means, I’ll certainly keep it as a backup, but it’s getting about time for a fresh piece of metal now.
To be fair to the WE226 has one thing it has over many other WE offerings is a 15mm bbu which helps a lot. This said I have known a few to go through nozzles a bit too regularly.
Probably the gun I most regret selling. The styling is a bit marmite but (just like marmite) I love it. It has an absolutely titanic gas reservoir in the mags, the slide is pretty lightweight, as a result Ive had it working reliably all year round without any cooldown issues.
Yeah I dont trust anything thats listed as a "quick" or "easy" "just dont have the time" repair, its clearly knackered and trying to flog it on If it was genuinely quick/easy/cheap to fix why havent they done it?
