new MWS upper required

My OEM upper is not working but my mate's is, so I know mine is gone. My question now is, do I buy a z-parts forged upper? anyone got any experience with those? Iwould love an original Tm but they are just not possible to get hold of.

What do you mean “gone”? Likely is one small part that’s broken (running on green gas, could be the nozzle return spring)

As @rocketdogbertsaid, what exactly has 'gone'? 

Dont go overboard looking to replace the upper if it's something as simple as replacing a spring.

Try to switch the bolt with your friend (the rest of the upper stays):

Does your bolt work in his MWS?

Does his bolt work in your MWS?

Narrowing down the error ...

Or do you really mean the upper outer body (the upper hull), as the z-parts is just that: an empty hull.

But I don't see how this part would not work anymore.
