New(ISH) player, need primary!

Hi all, returning player of about 8-9 years, even back then I wasn't fully commited as I were a part time worker so couldn't afford much ? but here I am second time around full time and a father of 2.

I'm from walsall, and does anybody have any tips on how to avoid telling the missus how much I'm about to spend on "Toy" guns?
