it has ridges but im not sure if this mount would work .

I don't know your gun and how similar it is to the G&G version.
My RIS rail has a 27mm opening so it sits on the MP5, straddles it actually.
Claws swing down and close into the grooves, inserting about 4mm on each side and then they are secured in place by Allen screws from the top.
So the weapon is not penetrated - the rail just sits on it, gripped into position by the claws.
