milsim event

Looking into putting on milsim event, possibly a weekender , just wanna get some opinions and ideas

1. When...im guessing in one of the holidays but when do you guys think the most popular times would be.

2.where, obiously im glos so I would first look in southwest midlands reigon but not too sure if theyrs big enoughsites, any reccomendations.

3. Any general ideas or advice

Anyone with experience in event hosting or similar and is intrested into grafting ideas in detail then pm me.

Just so you know, im new to airsoft, but am a company director of europes largest re enactment festival (one of the biggest in the world), and direct a few other small festivals.

When: Any weekend is suitable for a 2 day event, a bank holiday weekend is better.

Where: You need somewhere big and with restricted access to the public. The MOD seem to have the best sites but that can be a problem (look at the operation Shining light thread) if they change their training needs. The bigger airsoft sites may be an alternative or country estates.

Gunman does some of their 'filmsims' over 2 or more sites with transport between them.

What sort of re-enactment are you involved with? There are WW2 based games and there's at least one vietnam based game that are somewhere in the grey area between airsoft and re-enactment.

Its a medieval re enactment festival (im not a re enactor, just a director)

And cheers, ive had quite a few inboxes aswell need to take notes on all of tbese things then work out costs etc

Proballymstart it off on a smaller scale because the larger I scape it the more it will cost.
