Nah that wouldn't work because not everyone coming is a Mall player.

Trmr and pistol was  a good idea but I agree with PT on the aeg. I am sure Hef will come up with something decent and I for one plan on just leaving him to it and trusting his judgement.

Juggernaught isn't gay quite the opposite and that's the problem very few people are willing to bite down and get on with the role and it always ends up being me. I dont mind normally but as I am playing the next day I would like at least a few bits of me not to be purple. As for the game idea could be interesting but people are paying to shoot sh*t.

Simple fact is game time is a daft idea for lots of reasons. What happens if someone wins 5 free games and the Mall closes a month later?

Lets just leave Hef to sort it, he knows what he is doing.

I don't know about that, I didn't return to the site after I posted it; I hate these silly " x hours ago" timestamps, make it very difficult to dispute things like this. I might have edited it, I might not, but either way, I did not edit it after your post was made. :)

After trying my new tracer out at the Mall last night I am now very excited about this :)

Barely used my torch at all last night after triggers advice and had a much better time than before.

Torches just let people know you are coming or even worse is when some idiot back lights you to let the enemy know you are coming. 

Now you need to sneak up behind someone and scream boo at the top of your lungs right down their ear before shooting them, it's so funny to watch the reaction.

 
Yeah, it was great last night.

I was crouched in the dark in C&A and could see torches slowly illuminating the corridor that runs behinds the shops. They may as well have been wearing one-man-band outfits for all the good it did them.

But also had lots of team mates ruining my attempts at silent skulking in the dark by coming up behind me with torches blaring.

Engage them too then. One reason to own a non-GBB gas pistol to engage without muzzle report.

 
so not having been to the mall for some time i had a look on their website for their rules.. noticed that they now don't allow HPA'd shotguns or shotguns with mag adapters :(

do they still allow HPA rifles?

Hpa rifles are fine.

The ban on HPA shotguns was a good one though. After being absolutely hammered by a couple of morons using hpa'ed tri shots just before xmas I was one of the players saying to get rid of them. They tend to fire hotter than most shotties and with the hpa and mag conversion it was worse than getting over shot on full auto. That game before xmas was without doubt the closest I have ever been to losing my rag for being overshot, I was raging and had to take a moment a few times. People who use those things don't do it improve anything they just want to put as many bbs as possible into some poor idiot and they make a mockery of single fire rules.

 ah ok..  i guess that must be a minority of people that ruined it for the rest. Mine can use either gas or HPA. when i've had it chrono'd elsewhere it read at under 300fps. but then again i've never adjusted the regulator either and generally never will.. 

oh well.. if i decide to bring it i'll bring the gas mag with me

Unfortunately it only takes the minority to mess it up for everyone. The fair players don't draw attention like the nobheads.

 
I can recall a game last year that two guys arrived together both using HPA stanag tm breachers, they were always sticking together so I can totally understand what you mean.

Shame about banning them when they could just insist on a lower muzzle power.

 
Its not muzzle power its the ability to overshoot that is the big issue I think.

Tri shots are fine in single shot games because they are limited by ammo and gas so people generally on fire once but once you take away those limitations they become a an overkill machine. So instead of firing once and picking their shots players tend to blast away as fast as they can fire the gun.
