Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Been on FB Marketplace again looking for something, while I was I thought I’d do a quick search for airsoft. Theres some belter but this one, wow!
Marketplace is amazing for some fun overpriced airsoft stuff.

These are definately Cheap Cyma mags yet he thinks they are £35 new and £50 for all 3

Wonder how long before that gets removed , unless FB has stopped being funny about gun shaped things . Which is wierd anyway for a 'murican company .

There loads on there from cheap to very expensive. The oddest is a pice of shit metal springer colt .25 pocket pistol that the guy has fully professionally engraved and is asking £950. It does look amazing ( if it is genuinely hand engraved ) but end of the day its still a pos springer.

Yes but Zuckerberg isn't 'murican. I don't want to go into politics but his leaning isn't that of a 'murican. FB has advertising partners it needs to keep happy by having no association with weapons.

I think the stranger behaviour of FB is how fiercely it censors anything resembling a gun or women defiantly showing mastectomy scars but when people post misinformation, libel or racist comments (short of inciting harm), that's perfectly fine. Sometimes, they turn a blind eye to threatening or inciting violence if there's no hate crime involved.

I need to grow up and stop laughing at his surname. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Don't forget the meta analytics that spy on us, use your phone to search almost any website for something you need, it's almost guaranteed you'll later get ads pop up on your fb for similar crap to what you searched for.
& half of it will be moody, either non existent, never to arrive, or fake & substandard quality, & fb won't give a toss if you tried to complain about the ads they push.

But if you do like I once did, & moan about a video showing blatant thieving by a particular "minority" group, & refer to them as "pikey scum", you'll soon find yourself in fb prison for a month 👮‍♂️

Ever since I removed myself from what I call "wide net" social media (facebook, insta etal.) and just engage directly with the communities I enjoy (like this fine forum) I feel a weight off my shoulders not being consumed by endless scrolling algorithms constantly feeding me shit to keep me engaged. I am however more skint due to endless Airsoft window shopping.

There's a phrase if something is free then you're the product.

All social media sites algorithms are set up to keep people engaged and will feed users a certain percentage of crap they know they're not interested in as it keeps users scrolling for longer till something comes up that they do like.

Another Facebook Dreamer, somehow spent over £1200 on a TAC41A and wants £800 for it, with very little info on any upgrades.

Could just get Longbow to build one for that lol

"This is an ideal package for someone looking to get into airsoft or for an experienced player wanting to expand their loadout."

How many people looking to get into airsoft are realistically going to want to take a near £2000 gamble AND get started playing 3 different roles with all that kit?

How many experienced players are likely to find all that kit to be exactly what they want in expanding their loadout?

Surely splitting the guns and equipment into bundles will be the quickest way to sell it all and have the lowest chance of lowballers?

Ngl half the fun i had when starting out was looking for, finding and buying my own pieces and then going from there. I still have fun doing it now. Had tonnes of fun this week tracking down some Pencott pouches. Boring to just buy it all in one pack and all pre upgraded lol be kinda like buying a full set of collectibles. Its nice to have but the fun is hunting the individual items.

That's definitely a split it lot though that 1.9k price tags going to scare off everyone.

That's what I see being the biggest problem. For sale is someone else's purchasing journey without you experiencing each chapter for yourself.

I still buy little bits for my loadout as I experiment with them and I completely agree that there's a lot of fun in finding them. Especially with this heatwave, I'm experimenting with webbing and chest rigs as plate carriers are just too much right now.

Another issue is that there's no size given for the shitty cumstains camo stuff. A buyer could easily but them and find it doesn't fit
