Private or from a commercial business retail customer ?

Though your ‘not sure if they knew’ would imply even via a business that they were sent in standard post, without markings etc as opposed to a limited authorised method with markings

No details, incorrect format, and you can get a new one in the UK for £175, and the conversion i did cost about £2 in parts ( not including the drill bit).

He's not declared the brand so I suspect that it's the CYMA/EMG Daniel Defense version of the Mk 18, which is a couple of hundred quid less expensive than TM's version.

I priced up the other bits I can see from and in total I've got ~£770 for the CYMA Mk18, two additional STANAG mags, the Theta Optics RDS, a DBAL-A2 & torch and a mock suppressor, all brand new. From which body cavity did he pull £780 for all of this gear used?

I'll put my hand up if I've got the gun and pricing wrong.

It turns out I did get the pricing wrong. It's more of a rip-off than I thought as two people more eagle-eyed than myself called it out as a Golden Eagle brand of Mk 18.

You've got to love these expensive toys that function as normal but struggle to shoot consistently. The issue is so easy to repair that the seller hasn't done it himself to improve the resale value on his two-tone GBBR.

He also pulls the "hard to get" card but I find it this particular example of the Mk18 hard to want without full transparency on the problems with it.

Seems to have finally learnt his lesson - not a bad price.  However, and its a big HOWEVER.  I wouldnt touch this with a barge pole - the hop ramp isnt even screwed in as you can see in the photos which is indicative of someone not knowing what the fuck they are doing when installing the new TNT hop unit.  This isnt an uncommon issue, and one thats easily solved but unless you know what you are doing.......

And the fact it’s covered in grime and pubes kinda puts me off too ??

if there is 1 platform I know its GHK AKs.......the solution is easy - you just need to unscrew the barrel a half turn or so from the trunnion so its not pushing the hop unit back and then the feed ramp will fit and be able to be screwed down.  But if you are an idiot who doesnt know what they are doing....Christ knows what else is wrong with it
