Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

"Isn't fully functional"

That's putting it mildly considering it won't cycle

The plot thickens.

"I can also include the parts from the old gun if requested."

It's not a complete list of parts so restoring it to factory settings isn't an option.

I'm going to presume the seller has excluded photos of perhaps 1 or 2 guns from the eBay listing..

Are these hard to get hold of these days? I kind of forget these and the AUG exist. Not been seen in the UK for a while right?

Samoon show them as in stock, GHK list them on their site too.

I bought mine from France in October when i was over there.

Yeh Samoon have them but if you don't want to play dice with customs.......

Aside from being a slow process, i don't think it's really an issue as long as you're a legit buyer. (IE a player or have UKARA.)

I've got some stuff that was seized by customs in December, been released today. It took 3 weeks for them to send me a notice of seizure, and another 3 weeks to get it released. Other guns from the US, Taiwan and Hong Kong have come through without issue.

(I actually want a Sig 551 as well.)

£780???

They're £450 new and 4 spare magazines are £112.

I wonder if he was stiffed at the time buying it. That being said the fact that he openly says it doesn't support his play style sounds like a delayed case of buyer's remorse so maybe there's a wish to be compensated, including the VAT paid on it?

Maybe his own VAT, but they're 450 for the gun and 28 each for the mags including VAT from Zero One.

What he wants is well above retail for a used gun. If the gun alone was 300-ish i'd be tempted. But even at 350 i'd pay the extra hundred quid and have a brand new one.

I think you've misunderstood what I was getting at. I wasn't questioning that it's above current retail pricing, merely speculating that he'd paid more than he should have which is why the price is so divorced from reality. Either way, he's not done his homework to establish what his bundle is likely to fetch.
