M4 to L129A1 Conversion?

as the title suggests I wish to convert my M4 to a L129A1 look alike.

I figure if I can remove the foresight from my M4 and replace the foregrips, I'd end up heading the right direction.

My first question is what barrel can I buy for my G&G to delete the foresight.

Actually Is the SR25 a better idea?

Very much so, the 5.56 and 7.62 rifles are significantly different in size.

Best starting point would be an a&k or G&p sr25k.

Both the upper and lower receivers are quite different.

Yeah, an M4 will never be turned into any kind of passable L129 sharpshooter lookalike. Some kind of SR25 is required

Because it's 5.56, not 7.62

He also asks if an sr25 would be better though. Neither will look the same but a 25 can atleast get close-ish.

I can see what you mean with the SR15

I think the SR25 will give me a closer look though as the mag housing is the more correct size. Thanks for the idea though
