M4 RIS Handguard

Hi all,

I don’t know if I’m simply not searching for the right thing or using a wrong search term as I’m not finding as much as I thought I would.

Ive got a G&G GR16 for my boy who’s just starting out, but it’s got a standard M4 handguard and solid stock on it (was wondering in a raffle, not chosen)

I want to put a RIS/Picatinny handguard on the front, and hopefully a buffer tube and sliding stock on the back end rather than the solid stock.

Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere in the UK that can provide the handguard and buffer tube? Unsure if they need to be specific G&G or not tbh.

The GR16 bit doesn't really narrow it down. Can you post a pic of it?

Just one thing to bear in mind. If the gearbox is rear wired changing from a fixed to adjustable stock will restrict what size battery can fit

Ive lost my way a little with AEG as I’ve run gas for the last 10 years lol. But makes sense for my boy to start there and work his way up.

in terms of the battery, it is rear wired and I’ll likely have to use a stick lipo type and get him a few, but that’ll be what he wants over a solid stock.

Appreciate the help - seems this o e has had me stumped or I’m losing my Google-fu skills

Alternatively you could use a crane stock like the one @Lozart linked which should take a 2000-2600mah nun-chuck style battery that'll last all day (depending on how trigger happy your boy is I suppose )

You can get something like this in a 7.4 or 11.1 config - the stock tube itself usually fits a cell if you use 11.1s
