Good Afternoon All!
Apologies if this has come up before, I have searched the forum and the newbies guides but couldn't find an answer.
I just got this RIF and added a solid M16 Stock on it (because why wouldn't you, look at it)

Unfortunatly, the battery cable which was meant to be used as a buffer tube housing, is too short.
It stops at around this red line

As you can imagine this make connecting the battery impossible. I could technically keep taking the stock off but the screw to connect this is small and took a lot of effort to get it in. So I am thinking of getting a small Deans extender cable and wrapping in with electrical tape to prevent it disconnecting to extend the cable a bit.
I wanted to ask here first as I know LiPo's can be temperamental will that effect anything if I add a 1-2 inch extender?
I currently don't feel confident enough to just wire a longer cable directly, perhaps once i meet a few more experience air softers in person, I may ask for help but currently I don't have that support structure around me except for you guys
.
Thanks
Phill
