M4 mags in AK pouches

I know they are smaller and will go in, but are they a reasonable fit or very loose?

I know m4 ones will be better but I don't want to be shelling out for them just yet.

If you find there going a bit deep in to the pouches then stick a chunk of foam/kip mat/etc in the bottom of the pouch to lift the mags up a bit .?

what we always did in the army when using 58 ammo pouches with the SLR mags , either that or some manking old socks stuck in the pouch ! ? ?
