Is your stock tube shaped like this:
Try filing it so it looks like the bottom one. Had this problem on my g&g with a clone mft stock.
Well if the stock has a locking mechanism it shouldn't fall off at the back. I'll go get a photo to show you what I mean.
Yeah I see what you mean. But if I do that, every time I move the stock to the furthest position, I run the risk of pulling it off completely as there’s nothing stopping it. Also I don’t know yet if there’s an issue with the stock and the pin will pull back far enough even to change positions at all.

The locking mechanism on your stock should keep it held in, no? Mines is still a bitch to get on and off even with the filing I have done to it. I'm assuming your stock tube has the dent thingys for the stock pin thingy to go in?
The locking mechanism won’t keep it in if i’ve filed away the only part holding it in. I could depress the lock and slide it all the way off.
Does your stock have a round pin in it? You could try filing the bit I filed down to the same height as the top of the circle bits then see if the stock will fit on?
If I did that, it wouldn't latch on to any stop positions and it would just sliding all over the place.
Yeah my crane stock did that, but the lever doesn’t go the other way on this one.I had a similar issue on a stock, I could get it on and off by pulling the adjuster lock tab the opposite way to that which it was supposed to go. The extra leverage pulled the pin down far enough to get it on and off, and it meant I couldn’t take it off accidentally. Then I bought a UBR
Yeah I tried all that. I put about 60lbs of force down on those pins and they wouldn’t budge past halfway.
The pin in your stock goes into the circle bits so it wouldn't just slide all over the place. From what I can tell the only reason the stock isn't going on is the back most bit of your stock doesn't provide enough clearance. To remove the material and keep the rear most locking bit you should file it down until it's level with the top bit of the circles.
I do move the stock around a fair bit while playing - especially when the site I usually play at has mixes of indoor and outdoor. I probably move the stock position 7 or 8 times during a game, so if I file the rear stop off the buffer tube, every time I shift to full length position, I run a serious risk of pulling it completely off.
Done exactly just that. A bit peed off that I had to, because of what was essentially a defective stock, but it’s done now.
