M14 scope mounting help

Hey guys,

My brother has a G&G M14 Veteran, so it's just wooden, no RIS or anything and I'm trying to help him figure out how to mount a scope on it.

He's managed to find a type of mount called a Sadlak, or something like that? Can anyone link me to one that I can buy that will fit the G&G model? I'm having a hard time finding one.

Also wondering if there's any other way of mounting scopes without buying a RIS set. 'Cos there's this weird looking slanted claw type thing over the top of the ejection port and I have no idea what it is if it isn't to do with the mounting of optics.

Buy the G&G scope mount for the m14, will cost around £45 i believe.

Don't see why it wouldn't, I'll drop them an email and see if they know. It's definitely cheaper than the G&G one.
