Had the finished rusfor load out ready at my last game

Made it out to Gunman Tuddenham at the weekend - ran the MWS L119A1 (for the first and last time this year), and a Blackhawk Helivest.

Was a nice lightweight load out, 3 spare magazines for the rifle and 2 for the Glock, plus a couple of multibangs is all I needed for the filmsim scenario.

Gas, water, extra ammo and a couple of spare magazines in a 5.11 grab bag.

Is there a plate carrier any of our more rotund forum members found with enough adjustment over the shoulders & chest/gut area?
I have an Osprey Mk4 that fits but it weighs a tonne, a Virtus that fits my fat gut (with some extra straps) but is a bit high on the shoulder/neck area. Got plenty of belt setups, webbing & a TAP & FLC that fit but fancy a modern lazer cut plate carrier, I fully expect to add a bit of girth to the cumberbund but wondered if you had found an ideal carrier?

I'm... slowly getting out of the fat git club, but the plate carrier I've always used is the Warrior Assault Systems RPC and that fits me and my overweight 6'5 frame

I used a replica Russian 6b45 when I was a bit larger found it wasn't too hard to accommodate my gut I think Dave's custom Airsoft sell em if you don't want to wait on AliExpress delivery times

The 6b45 in L is huge but it'll still suffer the same issue as the Osprey in regards to weight.
If you want a plate carrier, Direct Action Gear in Poland sell a "spitfire" which goes up to roughly 56"s in their XL which also has laser cut... They're just bloody expensive cause they're the "real deal"

Put together my veteran S.T.A.L.K.E.R loadout. Kept all the kit Eastern European so it has modern day mm-14 and a Ukrainian manufacture smersh rig imitator. Paired it with a ss-leto smock and of course a 3 hole balaclava. Not a 1 to 1 from the games but more inspired by what could realistically be found in that setting.

RusFor kit test from yesterday - had to make sure I still fit into the Gorka after winter, and wanted to check some new bits to make sure they worked. Just a quick'n'dirty safezone shot at the end of the day, hence the copious paint stains and mud. Faces and folks blanked because (a) photo consent and (b) I was pulling a stupid face.

Non-aligned/generic post-Soviet recon/sf, circa 2007. Or, every third video game bad guy from the mid '00s.

I’ll share my main loadout. I absolutely love my silverback MDR, it has performed beautifully since come out of the box.
Running it alongside my SSP5 6.0. Has worked really well with TM mags and hasn’t let me down once.

Tac gear is pretty simple. Viper buckle-up plate carrier has been very comfortable.

Well the girth extension for my plate carrier arrived, it's now fitted and I now can actually wear it. Time will tell if I like wearing it in a game but being able to breathe will certainly help. Had to get creative with how to attach it & it might change in the future, in the mean time I'm having to restrain myself from adding pouches, they're not really needed TBH but the urge is there...
Turns out I need an extra 8-10 molle slots for my 'figure', you'd think manufaturers would realise lots of middle aged gamers might need a litte extra help.

As a side note...

Does anyone else get 'trigger finger' (cramps), OMG both index fingers at the same time fitting molle... that shit hurts.

I can't recall what the tool is called but they do a plastic slider of sorts that helps thread pouches etc through molle, makes it a lot easier. I've had a google to see if I can find what I mean but no luck yet
