Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic

some sort of crazy logic going on there that's for sure...
Like M4 haters as everyone has them, but as a platform they work. (Says guy trying to replace his M4 with a G3 for almost that reason along with love of H&K).

I think your comment haters will be haters sums it up though. Heard some very personal comments being made about a really nice guy at one of my games for wearing 'desert' in woodland. Yes his camo didnt work that great being too light, but I was in black and that didnt work either that well. At ranges we were working at camo was not really the issue anyway. Seems some people just like to run other people down.

Better than the people who have every single piece of their kit in woodland camo, it can be effective but you look like you're wearing a woodland onesie.

not sure if this picture is public or not :

here you can see my permanent loadout:

Left side (right on picture) 6 M4 pouches, changed to either more pistol pouches or a small utility, weapon dependant (here you can see that UMP mags do fit M4 pouches..... just)

right side is 2 pistol mags, pistol, suppressor holster and then at the back in the middle is my dump pouch (scroll through the album/http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=333...6187&type=3)

Good kit, nice and low on the profile.

Slight shame about your friend's rather poor attitude.

I don't think it's a poor attitude, he just prefers how normal shooting stances look/feel. that's fine in my books.

I'd think anyone using homophobic terms to describe certain things that they don't personally like has a incredibly poor attitude. Some people may consider that sort of thing to be funny or a 'joke' in some fashion, but this is 2012, not 1912. I'm sure the standard issue response to me will be "ligthen up" but pathetic, childish little plays on words like 'fagpul' simply don't fly on most forums, certainly not on arnies, and that's the way it should be.

Your stance there isn't even anything remotely like the ones demonstrated in the Magpul DVDs, which makes his comment doubly ridiculous.

What do you think of those G code holsters CK? I was looking at them and thinking of maybe swapping my serpa for one

Massive step forward, love everything G-Code. The holsters, the whole RTI system, the service from the site, all top of the line and very well designed.

My Kimber is insanely tight inside the OSH but I'm certain that's down to the HurricanE metal kit rather than the holster, because all my TMs are fine. SERPAs are fine, never had a problem with any of mine in all my time airsofting, but G-Code make a much wider range of holster types, all of which comes in a much wider variety of colours and styles. All works on tension fit as well, the holsters don't even need a locking mechanism. Not that I'm saying the SERPA lock is complicated, but in a pinch situation when you need your pistol ASAP then an extra fraction of a second never hurt anybody.

I was thinking of picking one up, i was just worried about the exposed mag release getting knocked when the pistol isnt in use

Mag catch is exposed on SERPAs as well, so unless you've had a problem with the Blackhawk holsters you won't have a problem with the G-Code.

is it? wow, it thought it was enclosed in the plastic... looking at it, what a mistake to make

might have to have a look at getting one of the g codes then, they do look really nice

I'm gonna have to award myself 10 tard points

The MC does cost extra, but the basic price does allow you to choose between Black, FG, OD and Coyote. Also you can choose which hand and whether you want the shirt guard or not, they custom make it for you. Can take a little while depending on exactly what you pick, but if it's for a popular weapon you'll be unlucky if it takes them 5 days to ship out.

The GSH is their standard model, but I went for the OSH because it's that bit lower profile and only costs $4 extra. Though do be aware you'll have to pay a little bit more for a mount, unlike SERPAs these don't come with belt mounts as standard. Worth it to mind.

My current rig and belt kit for uksf loadout.

Might get a full pic or in game shot at the weekend :)
