I'm new to airsoft, and I have a couple of questions.

I hope that all goes well, i'm just wondering have you been to a site renting a gun?

Angelfish, Craig. I breed fish as my main source of income, and right now there's a market for Angelfish.

And I probably should have mentioned this earlier: I'm 14. I won't be able to buy from this site, as nobody would know if it's someone over 18 talking to them on my behalf, or myself pretending to be them.

Nadrian: I haven't as of yet, but on Saturday I'm going with my friend and his dad. Not sure where, but I'll be using one of their spare guns and some spare kit.

As long as it's a two tone and you have a parent gifting it you, with no monetary exchange im sure that's legal. (Correct me if i'm wrong marksman) just don't try and buy guns personally as the seller would be in the most trouble and give a bad impression of the sport in general (general precaution don't think you will).

EDIT:Can't believe i put two town -.-

Check Patrol Base or Action Hobbies, AH especially have a fair few CYMA AKs and the short AK from PB is fantastic value for money, though it'll need a downgrade, it's a mega mental 500fps out of the box.

Thanks for the responses, guys.
After reading Marksman's thread, I started looking for an M4. I found a version of one here for £49.99 (£55.98 inc. Postage). 40 round STANAG mag, electric, and one of the guns suggested for beginners. I've also been looking at some Pro Goggles (here). I will be (hopefully) going to an airsoft specialist shop that a family friend runs, to see if I can pick up some ESS V12 relatively cheap.

I picked up a brand new pair of ESS V12 on ebay, theres some one selling them for £19.99 plus postage. so not a bad price for a pair of ESS V12

The ESS V12 are ace but when on the move pack them well or the frames will snap

I make sure all my kits packed well when i transport it in my car, my ESS V12 go back in there storage pouch after every use and packed into a bag to be safe. I found the ESS V12 to be worth every penny i spent on them

Hate to bust your dreams mate, but AEG under 100£ isn't worth much. Accuracy and range sucks big time usually, the mechanics inside wear of quickly, mostly all plastic. You may find Chinese products around that value, some claim they're not too bad, but mostly you need UKARA to buy them.

My mate went the same way, and bough G36 from CYMA all plastic approx 70£. What a rubbish it was, cant even tell. Sometimes he could hit a can from 5 meters with single shot.. sometimes. I had marui M4 back then for 170£, cant even dare to compare those two... and that M4 of mine, was really lower range AEG.

Maybe consider waiting a bit more, and getting something more decent, you'd be happy to play with instead..
