So I have an ICS MP5 A5 and I picked it up for the first time in a year. Fully charged a brand new battery plugged it in and it would not fire but made a small noise in the handgrip where i think the motor was spinning.
I did some research and found that it may be a locked gearbox so I pulled it apart and dragged the anti reverse latch and it made a pop noise so I thought I was successful in unlocking the gearbox but when I put it back together the same issue occurred. Tried the anti reverse latch but it was fine this time.
I plugged the battery in with the motor connected outside the handgrip and it seems to spin fine. I'm not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions please?
