Ics m4a1 2 piece gear box..

Hello guys. I have an old ics m4 which I am starting to customise its has a 2 piece gearbox. Is there any other gearbox which will drop in? The selectorplate on mone has snapped and its screachs quite bad during normal use. Im planning an upgrade on all areas of the gun so maybe a performance gearbox if there are any out there? Nope, ICS Bodies will only accept the Split gearbox by ICS.

Which version gearbox are they based on? Ad I need a new selector plate. I will grease and shim inside to try and stop the squeal!

Most of the ICS split V2s parts are compatible with the Marui V2,with some parts like the shell(Obviously) and the anti reversal latch are proprietary. I believe everything else is standard marui stuff.

Make sure when taking it apart to hit the forward assist to release spring tension or else some parts may break.

The squeal may also be from poor motor height,use the screw on your pistol grip to lower and raise the motor and fire off a few rounds each adjustment. The less squeal,the better.
