my mate gave me a peq box for my m4 because i need one for the battery

it is a ics cxp peq box

is there anyway i can modify the box so it can fit a standard 8.4v battery

not unless there are some internal supports you can dremel out. How about getting a battery sling, then the battery is slung round you, or a nunchuck style small battery will fit in the fore grip. I know that these fit as they fit in my ics peq, till i fitted a battery sling to it.
