Hire guns or lack off them

I Hired a gun (about a month in advance) went on my own to a night game and although I had fun it would be better if I could bring a friend, but there is never any guns available when I ring and book however when I get to the site there has been enough spares to start a revolution what's the crack with this?

The more the merrier surely...

We find it quite difficult to arrange things more than a week or 2 in advance, shift work kids girlfriends do not make this easy and almost ever time there are no hire guns available

Maybe attracting new people to the game is not what they want I'm puzzled. Or is it they don't want to be overrun with newbs? My argument to that would be how the F&£k are people supposed to get experience and decide whether it's something they want to do when it seems so difficult to get an eve game at urban if you don't have your own gun...why not have a newb night every so often?

What site is it? Some sites won't have many rentals or some that have enough but go like hot cakes.

Most sites want you booking in advance for rental guns so your time problems may be your Achilles heel.

Urban assult, when I went on my own because they said they only had one gun left they had loads of spare guns (like 20 at least)but don't use them it's a bit bonkers really the more people that play the more people would be getting ukara and spending money in there shop buying there own gear...I just don't get why if they have brought the guns to the site they ain't renting them...

 
Somebody correct me if im wrong but at urban assault on a night game they only have 10 Hire gunners so they can keep an eye on them.

When you go to a day skirmish at urban assault or Bulby woods they have a lot more hire gunners playing and therefore use all there guns.

 
Maybe so as not to overcrowd the site? I've never been to UA but having too many people might simply make the games not as good etc.

You may be right all I know is it's doing my head in Iv played a few games really enjoyed it, me and my friend are not cheating idiots and we are missing out on a good laugh...

And the last couple of games you are pretty clueless about who's on who's team anyway... see a silhouette shoot it or be shot :)

 
There's only a limit at night games at UA, 40 players (30 + 10 hire).

For the day games, they don't limit the hire guns, they have 25, but hire out 20 max incase anything goes wrong with them.

Maybe a group of players booked but didn't turn up or something?

Last weekend, all 20 hire guns were out.

Well I'm going anyways but my friend misses out. its annoying that something we/I enjoy pisses us off regularly...

I knew I had heard that information somewhere, and I thought I was right in what I was saying.
