Hey everyone ?

Just wanted to get some advice on the rules on selling second hand airsoft guns in the uk and on this site. I'm based in the channel Islands so our rules differ quite a bit and I don't want to potentially get myself or anyone else in any trouble.

For UK legislation there is no difference between retail & second hand RIF sales

If it was a sale within the UK then even a private seller is the one liable for a compliant VCRA RIF sale - the buyer should demonstrate a VCRA defence to justify the RIF sale, but it is the seller who is legally liable

But Jersey is not part of the UK, therefore it would be an import and the importer (buyer) is responsible for justifying a RIF import

This could be difficult and complicated

I have sold to the Channel Islands before and it means that the Importer has to make sure they follow all the local laws required, but also the exporter has to fill in a declaration form. Honestly I would rather avoid going through it again,
