I've been out of the game for a good while. I usually run peltors contacts on a headband (old version that can't be taken off).

At night Ive got a tbh II helmet set up for night vision.

Im going to sell the TBH II, what helmet should I go for? I don't care about impressions e.t.c.

I've narrowed it down to FMA or Evolution gear.

Got to be strong enough to mount the wilcox and night vision, I'd like rails to mount a helmet cam and clip in face and eye protection - I get headaches with the amount of bands on my head!

FMA helmets are pretty good in my own experience - I'd avoid any helmets that come as "one size". It's a mistake I made and it sucked the whole time I used it.

I have the FMA 'Fast SF Tactical' helmet and it was a good, light and moderately comfortable helmet. The minor downside is that it uses soft foam blocks for padding which can be awkward for some people to get right.

More recently I bought the FMA 'EXF LTP Bump' which is a replica of the Team Wendy Exfil. Helmet is nice and light, well built but the real upgrade is the padding/suspension system used in the helmet - it uses a rubber 'pad' that sits on the top of your head, foam bands at the front and rear and the helmet uses wires on a ratchet system to tighten and loosen the helmet. Most comfortable one i've used so far though this is from a sample size of three helmets overall. Photo is an example of the EXF LTP.

I've seen plenty of people report that the PTS Mtek Flux is a good helmet too but i've never used one.

https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/fma-ta...EXWSgkSdS5scvTDwWWzohDnidFjfqIvvOspFSvKXXcbir this is the best out of the box option imo, i one used for a few years. they are very popular for a reason. no offense to the guy above but this version has the proper TW style padding and retention system. its a different rail spec to arc so keep an eye on that but it's still an "ecosystem" which is well catered for with accessories etc. I never had an issue with the shroud but the harness did get busted after a little while i replaced it with a PGD one. but i'm the only person i know of who had this happen. so you'll probably be ok.
