Help for Heroes Idea.

I want to try and do as much as possible, with whatever we can muster .. it gives me endless pride to be even planning this.

Airsoft Charity Supporters Group - ACSG. How does that sound to you all ?

Its totally up to you mate its your Bag, my honest opinion i think the supporters is unnecessary.

Does it need a name? If you are organising a series of events to raise money for specific charities, give the events different names. Then people can start collecting the patches from each event.

If you do things under the banner of a name it will be easier to do things as people will remember it. if it goes will then you have a rep!

The name is for the supporters of this venture and to have something to work from when organizing events.

I was actually thinking of making military type medals or ribbons for each event done that people can buy to show what they have achieved with each event.

Yer something to build for, so rather than just giving them your money and feeling good. why not give them you money have fun and get something to show for it. I mean you could go either get your own patchs made at an embroidery company which wont be to expensive. if you build the Group up and do events you could go as far to ask companies to made donate things, (Patches, Gear, even guns). they may or may not go for it but i bet you if you organise an event in which a fair amount of people turn up to then companies will want to be seen as helping.

What do you think ?

I have edited the original patch idea and added the new name, and a dove silhouette to incorporate charities outside of the military incase we go down that route in the future.

Bear in mind that more colours=higher cost. Consider a plain background that can be either olive drab or Coyote brown, it will keep the costs down and people are more likely to use it.

Yer that looks good but as small point which upsets me lol, is the pic of the bloke, he is either navy or more likely american.

He is military, all branches are brothers and sisters in arms.

Did someone say 'Motto'?

Yeah, and that's never clearer than the rare occasions when soldiers or airmen end up walking through Pompey in uniform...

I think an embroidery computer may struggle with the worm in the dove's beak and yeah, he looks like a yank to me: marine corps I'd say by how tall the sides of his cap are and the diameter of the top. Can't say I'd wear a union flag with a yank on it. With allies like them, who needs enemies?

ACG is good IMO. TLA's are good. Like when brothers and sisters from various branches of the military meet on a forum: MUB...

Version 2 since the first one cause controversy.

The image looks better on version 2 however the text gets a bit lost with the background as Russe11 said it should be a plain colour

I'm in the process of making a plain single colour version, with work and an unexpected hospital trip .. things kinda got sidetracked.

Edit -

New Plain Patch design, went with something different then tan/olive that stands out a little more

Also the Facebook group is now up for those interested in following for future details and events.

Hmmm... I think you should do a subdued colour scheme as well.

Oh the traditional OD would do me fine, but one of the colours from MTP might suit others more.

you can get a tan union jack which is just different tints of tan and then like the figure and writing in black?
