Hi all,

I have joined the forum based on a recommendation from a friend. I am a replica airgun enthusiast and have in the last year or so had my eyes opened to some of the truly excellent replica RIF's available in the airsoft world. I am not a gamer (bit old for it now), more of a collector and enthusiast.

I currently own the following RIF's -

Northeast MP2A1 Uzi 6mm
KWC 1911 Parkerised 6mm
FPR Stainless Steel Desert Eagle 6mm

Umarex GHK Steel Glock 17 6mm

Looking forward to having a good read through the content here and hopefully contributing going forward.

Welcome JD, first of all, shut your filthy mouth?, no one here is old, being old involves growing up, feck that?. 

Never say never, at least give playing a try, as long as you go to a well recommended site you should have a great time. 

Out of interest, how old are you ?

55 years old, just finished a session of Call of Duty, playing into the night because my bad knee will probably stop me sleeping well tonight.
Regularly fondles my growing collection of toy gnus.

Occasionally goes to skirmishes when the local council allows (b'stards).

Yeah, age and even infirmity no barrier to entry here :)

39 as of last week, I can imagine me being one of the snipers sat in a bush maybe.... typical camper lol

As for being 39, I'd just joined up when you were born, your in the prime of your life, get out there & shoot someone?

 
38 here, only been playing since I was 31. Fortunately my health is decent enough but yeah age-wise, you've definitely got some time to get stuck in. I often wake-up on a skirmish day really not fancying it but then ask myself "would you rather spend it sat on the sofa"? Even if you just go for a morning sesh, it at least feels like you've had a bit of fresh air and a runabout.

Welcome, don't worry too much about age, there's a big difference between growing old and growing up. Just take things at whatever pace suits you
