H&K umarex sportsline feeding issue, hopup blocking bb’s path.

On my H&K umarex sportsline ump, I have had feeding issues since I got it (second hand). It seems that the hopup is blocking the path of the bb’s up from the mag into the gun. Any suggestions ? 
 

quite a tricky problem by the looks of it as on the g36 and umps the hop up clips in

They've probably put in a maple leaf hop rubber, these have longer than average feed lips

push the hop rubber onto the barrel firmly, or swap for a prommy purple
