a Qeustion about the Socom Stock on the CQB Build is it easy to get the Stock Bit off to change Batt's?

Also i thought you couldn't attach Suppressor's to the Hera Arm's Kit?? Let alone put an Automatic in their Pray do tell how you managed such Wizardry!?!?!?

Hey dude!

The Socom stock just requires an a flat bladed screw driver to remove the stock from the tube and you have access to the stock tube- 3 second job

The HERA kit has a custom barrel adaptor on the front end with a 14mm CCW thread so will fit most silencers/flashiders. Thinking of sticking a FirePig sound hog on there in stead

Theres several ways to fit a G18C:

*Some guys pin the sear down and remove the fire selector.

*Some guys dremel out the side of the carbine kit.

*In my case Ive just filled around 1mm off the fire selector and with a bit of 'Abra Ka Dabra' (swearing and hitting) its now sitting pretty inside the body and cycles perfectly



It reads 'not allowed to use with C models' on the side of the kit but its just lies and propaganda ha ha

Was looking at getting a spas for a while... then saw it here WITH the stock. They're dead rare so was a quick purchase XD

also i never understood the Clever Girl thing but when i first saw Jurassic park i was so little (& Scared of that Giant Pink with yellow polka dot's whiny ass Mr Blobby or whatever he was called) and Hidden under the sofa (Think scooby & Shaggy ) i probably missed something that and whenever i watch something i've already seen i fall asleep....

Clever girl. Muldoon (Warden and ex hunter) is approaching a velociraptor attempting to kill it, but it turns out it was a trap and the hunter had become the hunted. He turns to find a velocaraptor over his shoulder, where he calls "clever girl", in appreciation and respect of the animal. Iconic part of the film, and worth a re watch!

As soon as i get the 416 on tuesday, stock and barrel are coming off. Silencer and new RS stock going on. Just need to order the parts

No trades and the wrong stock?

What's the deal with that? Is it WE? I've got it in my head that it's VFC... But I'm guessing it isn't.

Plus, I imagine WE would be a better choice for a GBBR.

Its WE, with a lot of RA-Tech parts

Not the wrong stock, just the original version of the 416. Newer one has the clubfoot stock and the different pistol grip.

I was looking for a distressed desert style paint job.

Something that looked like it had been through the apocalypse ha ha

Bit of Halfords camo paint and some washing up liquid.

I was quite pleased with it, looked awesome in the autumn

Yeah, you succeeded and like Ed says, it's immense! How did you use washing up liquid to get the paint like that?

I didn't realise that what I was buying were RPK mags, they were advertised as AK74 (long) and the company has shut down. Still, I paid a pittance for 2 and they sent me 3, so I'm OK with it. 140rnd midcaps - I can't decide whether the incongruity of sticking large mags on a little AK is sub-zero or just wrong.

I'm wondering what to do with the look of them also, because the 'bakelite look' plastic is horrible IMO. The real bakelite mags get bleached by sunlight, but I can't imagine this plastic would. Maybe there's something I can stain them with though. Or just Krylon them black?
