I treated my NGRS MP5 sneaky slut to some optics in the form of a Vector Optics Nautilus with a 5x magnifier, and replaced the clone Surefire X400 for one with a green laser. I really need to use this more as it's such a nice gun.

My NGRS 416 keeps being messed with, i can't leave the poor thing alone. Now has a Vector Optics Veyron 3-12 scope and a Vector Frenzy red dot on a modified scope ring/mount. Added the small angled grip and repositioned the pressure switch for the NGAL. I love the bipod even though it doesn't get used much. Acetech Bifrost may get replaced when my Angrygun KAC silencer arrives. ?

That thing looks sick!

If you like the ergo of the thumbhole lower foregrip and don't want to replace it, ExE on YouTube has a good wood furniture refinishing guide for NATO's cold war oiled wood type furnitures or soviet style resin coated woods. If you want a different finish, I'm sure there are other finishing guides for that wood type. And im sure sanding that's doable, If not time consuming.

Added an MWS to the collection. I've swapped some of the L119A1 bits over to it, so the long term plan is find a G&P Storm grip, maybe a spare upper to build a 16" one as well? And of course... magazines!

And then another stock and flash hider to go back on the NGRS so I don't have to keep swapping them over ?

Not gonna lie but I'm well chuffed with my McGyvering.

I'm constantly running out of room to display my collection so was looking for some of the S Racking like in the first pic, which seems to be an Airsoft World only product but they don't have the mag insterts I wanted so... I'm modified some Hi-cap Stanags to replicate the idea.

Each mag can be used as a mag if I need to as the only mod is a 6mm hole in the base plate so the internals can easily be refitted if I need/wanted to, there's a foam insert in each mag to stop the hooks slipping or twisting.

I reckon it'll only work with steal mags due to the weight of some of the rifs but I've aquired plenty mags over the years so won't miss them.

In theory I'll be able to fit 18 in the same display space as 12 previously.

Cheers bud, I like the quality of the lower lct just not the color of the cyma upper, needs to be darker to match the lower.

 
fun project. Picked up a worn PTS Masada AKM from Strykerles with a few known issues. Originally it looked like this:

I stripped it completely down, removed all the old paint and replaced the micro switch in the gearbox which was goosed. Cerakoted the upper receiver with Magpul flat dark earth, put in a new front sight and replaced a few other bits. Turned out pretty good.
