i do have an MP5K PDW on the way that'll become a CQB gun, so may well ditch the light and laser on this and just use it alongside a bolt-action sniper rifle.

The talk of m14s in the recent thread about DMRs made me get mine out. Replaced the ML macaron hop rubber and omega nub with a 4UAD friction pro hop rubber and the nub that comes with it and it solved the weird issue where sometimes it would jam the HPA engine open on either an empty mag or removing the mag and clearing the chamber. Seems to have solved it and will give it a run out next game day at DMR power (1.88J at my local site and will be putting .43s through it) to see how it's shooting with the new setup.

Complete Guarder Steel G34.

Built this from nothing with almost entirely steel parts. Went with a TTI hop unit as they’re substantially better than the OEM style hops.

I plan on using this for CQB games, so it has tritium sights as well.

It's very small, but i find it very comfortable in the hand. The fit/finish/quality is great.

I've not shot it properly yet or chrono'd it, but have seen some people say it's only doing about 250fps due to having such a short barrel. The trigger has a long free pull then a short and heavy break. It feels worse dry firing it, when shooting BBs i like the trigger and it has a short reset.

I'll report back when i've shot it properly.

the slide was lost in the post by RM… however Joe managed to get the whole job turned around and to my door in 48 hours after they found the package and delivered to him.

its quite snappy for such a heavy (G34 length) slide and comp.
