Gun picture thread

Got my hands on a WELL WE-10-1 today (SIG MCX RATTLER), absolutely in love with the thing.

For £180 it might just dethrone the DE UTR as the go-to choice for an awesome polymer bodied but extremely capable ready OOTB gun, thing is absolutely stonking on 11.1v (7.4v and 9.9v don't work properly though lol)

Absolutely pisses & shits all over the 'Sig Air' VFC if you can get over the polymer body, and considering how nice it shoots I'm sure you can.

You get *half* a gun, since the TMH is away with the standard issue style body getting worked on.

The base idea was to do a really modernised L85 Carbine (i.e. not the L22) without going down the more unusual routes like fitting a CASV.  Haven't finalised the muzzle or optic/s yet, but there will be a silencer in the mix as an option.

Been working on this.

FR Ordnance MC-51SD as made for the SAS/SBS

Quite a bit needs altering to fit the mp5sd front to the G3 body.

But only obvious mod externally is the charging slot was made longer to accommodate the G3 charging handle.

But as no real pics available, it's hard to determine where the cocking lever actually stops on the SD variant. So stopped it just before sling point.

Even though normal MC51 had the charging handle stop over the front sight.

Every day's a school day! Thanks for that.
No worries bud.

Yeah I'm not sure. What makes me think it's a hk33 is size of ejection port and how thin the barrel possibly is. But it's a poor photo.

Thing is with N.I. tours. They used alot of weapons for short periods as trials or specific things. But only a handful ever became "issued" or given an L designation.

For example, the British army in N.I used the m79 "Blooper" extensively. But was never used anywhere else that I'm aware, or have seen.

But I'm not going to go down that route too much or opens a can of worms.

fantastic collection as always.

British Forces Collection updated.

Amazing collection.

So i looked this up but found no answer online; it says Glock 17s and 19s were sometimes issued. A while ago when entering an Air Force base, the guy at the gatehouse had a tan/FDE Glock, and going by memory it had a lanyard loop on the bottom, which says to me it was a 19X. But nowhere could i find reports of them being issued 19Xs. Have you heard of them being used here?

Just as I thought I had enough.

Had what?

Just had my MWS delivered! A little annoyingly the extra 3 mags are the Type 89 but I don't think it'll matter much.

I can see why everybody recommends an MWS, I'm in LOVE!

I love how 'Real Gas Blow Back' actually means something, because it's a MWS and actually works properly lol

Now all you need is to grow a mass of curly hair and your RE3 Carlos loadout is complete
