Also the weird way in which my phone camera 'lightens' the centre of the photo makes it seem like there's been a fairly recent murder in my house. I can assure you that to the best of my knowledge this isn't the case.
My bank account is hurting a little. I would've been getting better pictures of it and using it on Sunday...until the loading nozzle sheared. D'oh. Any other GBBR, and I could've just cannibalised another gun for the part, but no, it had to be the one I don't have a spare for. Some choice bits on there, nice. Be interested to see some more outdoor shots.
That's very unfortunate, how old was the gun/rounds fired? My bank account is hurting a little. I would've been getting better pictures of it and using it on Sunday...until the loading nozzle sheared. Just over a year / ~10000 rounds, so I should've seen it coming really, I've discovered what the problem is though. The PTS PRS kit is supposed to come with a 2" Buffer Spacer, needless to say it didn't. I can't find one in the UK, so I'm going to borrow a M16A2 Buffer from one of my WOC's and see whether that will prevent the bolt from travelling too far back, which was the cause of the nozzle shearing I think. Please oh please let that solution workThat's very unfortunate, how old was the gun/rounds fired?
The stock, despite all the install videos complaining about it being difficult, was a breeze to install. The rail tapers as it goes from the receiver to the muzzle, and it is SO light. Weighed it before installing it, and its just shy of 350g. To put that into perspective, the Madbull 12.5" DD Rail is 700g, and this new one is 2.5" longer^^that's a great looking stock & rail
That's a nice camouflage job. What did you use?My custom M4 CQB build with camo paint job: made out of various parts, internally mostly Lonex running 16:1 gears cranking out 30rps on a 11.1 lipo (pic taken on phone).

Krylon camo spray paint. Base coat of sand with partial areas of woodland over the top then with varying shades of green and brown sponged on. Trying to go for an ATACS FG kind of thing. That's a nice camouflage job. What did you use?
