Real thing was a civil war breech loaded rifle used by the confederacy.

Finally got my first proper gun ( other than glock converted with roni kit ^^ )

Steel throughout, heavy, chunky, you literally do not need any ammo to kill with it xD, however right out of the box was rather disappointing so I got some parts and sat down on it this weekend.

Changed parts:

Hopup chamber maxx models 

Piston head double oring maxx models

Cylinder head double oring maxx models 

Nozzle double oring maxx models

6.02 590mm barrel maple leaf

Rubber Super macaroon 60* maple leaf

M120 non-linear spring prometheus

I am running it with gate aster v2 SE and 11.1 LiPo 3 cell.

It works way better than before, all fits well but I am still not happy with fps, as I am using it as DMR I want as close to 450 with .02 as possible. Currently 350 with .28 (((

I am waiting for stainless steel cylinder from maxx and warhead brushless motor and will experiment with PDI spring 260%.

Any ideas how to increase range and accuracy are very, very welcomed

Strike Industries TM MWS completed(?)

Might experiment with a small red dot or something, but I can't see it changing much more than that. Started in March last year! Time flies. Love how it turned out.

To match, also built a Strike Industries TM G17 (decided to not go with the EMG/G&P prebuilt one in the end). Waiting on a nicer red dot to arrive, but God knows when that will be.

Thanks! It is a TM G17 Gen 3 base, currently stock internals.

- GKTactical ARK 17 slide for TM G17

- EMG Strike Industries P80 lower frame for TM G17 Gen 3

- JDG Floyds magazine extension pad (increases gas/bb capacity)

- Aliexpress special SI Mass Driver compensator and recoil rod/stronger spring (attaches to the recoil rod like the real one, whereas the EMG/G&P prebuilt is attached to the barrel threads)

- Crappy red dot that has now been replaced

- Forgot the trigger but pretty generic

- SOTAC(?) clone Inforce APL 

The MWS came out nice!

Is the G17 a Gen 3 or 4 base?

Thank you! G17 Gen 3 as a base. Just got a Dytac SLR MWS kit too, but I am also feeling for a normal MWS, so not sure if I'll keep it

Picked up an MWS with SLR body, experimented with a couple red bits that my friend gave to me to sell ?  Not sure what I'll do with this one, but the sun made it interesting

Damn, this TM MP5K sure is nice out of the box. Not gonna touch the internals at all. But I want to do something to it.... I KNOW!

Added bonus, I can now access the hop adjuster without disassembling the front end.

Arcturus AK12 with a LCT AK19 pistol grip and mag release fitted.

VFC AK74 with Soviet stock and handguards fitted. Also has a Ares slim motor and pistol grip. The Magazine is a RS plum shell with G&P internals.
