Gun picture thread

Now normally I’m definitely not a “guns done !” sort of player as I’m always want to change this’n’that with my guns , but after getting an ‘old school’ red dot from these very forums(very BIG shout out to @kistofurryfor it) I honestly can say I’m really happy with it now and can’t see anything I want different on it . Now that’s nice .

I love the old school look....its cool!

I'll probably run it like this next game. The full rail lets me get the ACOG far enough forward that I dont feel its going to smack me in the face with recoil  The gun is one I own jointly with a mate , we do have a SUSAT for it but TBH I prefer an ACOG.

Not a fan of vert grips although I do have one with the integral bipod, but a torch is a bit of fun !

Needs a Spectre on it .

That would indeed suit it, but I've got the ACOG spare and I know it stands up to GBBR use without any issues.
Fair point , BUT as Airsoft is 80% ‘the look’ and 20% performance it NEEDS a spectre not an ACOG ! ?

Damn you ! I appear to have accidentaly ordered a Spectre ?
YaY ! zero will power for the win !?

will look cooler than a naked Antarctic explorers nads when he gets locked out side in the snow !?

Something a bit different: WE M14 (with Ra-Tech trigger group) inside a realsteel TROY S.A.S.S. (Semi Automatic Sniper System) chassis.

Very nice high-end chassis, CNC aluminum, the M14 needs a few adjustments, the trigger box doesn't fit in flawlessly yet. Will see how to fix that.

This does look pretty cool but it does make me laugh in terms of RS use. Like at what point do you give up polishing this turd and just get an AR-10

The modern versions of 7.62 ARs that are common now weren't really so much of a thing when this sort of chassis was first conceived.  The US Army pushed updated M14s in to service early-ish in Afghan for that exact reason as they had no other 762 DMRs to issue out.  Obviously this kit was the tail end of the M14/M1A being seen as anything more than a collectors piece/range toy but it wasn't made for no reason.

Need to get better pictures, but got the British trades done on my Hi Power

Very nice, how much getting them trades set you back, wondering if it's worth buying L9a1 form KY airsoft or getting the trades done on mine.

From memory about £60 . Jim at LC's engineering does an awesome job (mine was the first Hi Power he did) he does have a long waiting list though. I've just booked another slot with him for some L119 trades and I recon it'll about 6 months wait.

Thanks mate,  definitely something I'll look into after Xmas if I can't find anyone local.

Getting ready for tomorrow’s game so I thought I’d share a quick snap of the current state of my KC02’s

Edit: Before why two of the same gun? Top one is a 1.8j semi auto GBBR build and the bottom one has the blowback disabled for a single action 2.3j build.
