Grip tape on hi capas

How aggressive is this stuff? So aggressive as to be uncomfortable next to bare skin? 

I wouldn't want to wrap normal sand paper round a grip. Is it more or less the same thing, or a bit more comfortable?

Most grip tapes I've used are pretty sand papery ime of normal skateboard grip.

That would depend on what kind of ‘grip tape’ you are referring to.

The obvious thing that comes to mind is skateboard grip tape, which is clearly not designed for a guns grip.

There are grip tapes designed for guns — and would be a rubber tape

I believe they speak of this sort of stuff. No idea how good it is though!
