GBB DMR - firing full auto (fault)

Hi all,

I recently tried changing the pistol grip on the receiver of my sr25 vfc gbbr.

I actually haven't even fielded it yet. Its brand new.

I tested it on chrono with one mag - added an NPAS - then did the above with the pistol grip change.

The new grip i got didn't fit so sent it back. Now I have installed the old one again it has messed with the firing settings.

Was: Safe + Semi (locked)

Now: Safe + Full Auto

What might have happened?

All I did was remove the stock grip and then put it back on. I was very careful to not lose any parts when changing grip, and still have both the springs that the grip holds in the lower receiver.

Any ideas?

I can't say for sure because I've never worked on a VFC SR25 myself, but could it be that the sears aren't engaging properly?
