Gate Giving Me a Headache Help

Hi all im having trouble getting the gate control station. My phone will not support the gcs so i purchased a nice new chromebook but the chromebook is telling me that the gcs is not compatible with that either. Is there away i can get it on my chromebook as from what i understand it is andriod and the app is android compatible. Is it just me doing something wrong? I cant even access gate website for some strange reason. I never had this trouble with the jefftron leviathan

Chromebooks are Chromium based, not Android. Some newer models can run Android apps (from the Play store, rather than Chrome apps/extension from the Chrome Web Store), but not all of them.

Hatchet is correct, just to add my Chromebook can run apps from the Play Store but not all are available on the Chromebook. 

Why would the app not run on your phone? I assume you are running an older version of Android that is no longer supported?
