g&p l86 RIS

This is on behalf of a mate hes got l85 and wants the danile defence RIS handguard but worryed about battery space for his 7.4v 2200 mah lipo which is like a crane stock style anyone now if this would be an issue

I cantbsee it bring much smaller then standard handguard any help would be lovely
