G&G CM16 Raider - Short HELP Needed with low FPS

Hi Guys,

I've recently picked up an new CM16 Raider and it's only pushing out about 270fps on .20's; where should I start with upgrades to get it to around the 350fps mark?

New as in from a shop?

Take it back.

Did you buy the short or long version?  They both use the same gearbox, but the shorter inner barrel on the S gives about the FPS you are getting.  The L will put out about 330 because of the longer barrel.  This is from my own experience of the S and then fittng a longer inner for comparison, as I thought mine was shooting a bit too low.  A spring change brought it up to normal.

Charge the batteries, clean the barrel, repeat...

As said before if its from a shop get into contact with them, should be around 330-350 new!

A quick google has told me that both the 2.0 version and the 1.0 version of the CM16 Raider should be firing at 320. I'd get in contact with the store you purchased it from immediately, as they may have (unknowingly) sent out a faulty firearm.
