Fitting a guarder frame and slide

Hi guys n gals

I am trying to fit an MEU into a Guarder kit and the blowback unit won't fit. Any tips before I start filing down the rear sight?

Guarder kits usually require a bit of filing down.

Yes - I've rubbed down all the internals and the new blowback unit slides in very smoothly but seems to then rest on the notch on the rear sight. I'm reluctant to file the sight bits down as at least one of them keeps the blowback unit spring in place.

Any ideas, guys?
