Fit red dot to Glock 17?

Hi guys,

I have the Umarex Glock 17 Deluxe co2; is it possible to fit an optic (RMR/Venom) without having a slide that is pre-milled to fit. Can they be retrofitted with a mounting plate of some type to accept optics?

To answer your question; yes you can get plates that fit where your rear sight goes.

You pull out the rear sight and the plate slides into the groove. Then you screw the rear sight screw back in and then attach the sight to the plate.

Beware though you may need to upgrade hammer and recoil springs due to the additional weight.
