Hi all,

i have no understanding of electric motors and have encountered a wierd problem.

My Electric AGM MP44 hand grip has become a magnet and the gun will not work.

my queries are:

1 How on earth could this happen

2 is it reversable?

3 Who repairs these, or where do i get a new motor if required?

cheers

John

It has not become a magnet, it has always been one ;) AEG motors run (someone correct me if I'm wrong!) as current goes through a coil of wire wrapped around a central shaft. This wire acts as an electromagnet and drives the shaft which is connected to static (Not the proper term...) magnets. It could be a simple problem such as a fuse! Take it to a techie.

i stand corrected. I know nowt about this new electrik trisity.

Suffice to say metal things stick to the handgrip whereas previously they didnt.

i'll send it to a higher aurhority.

cheers
