Cybergun P90

I've recently began taking airsoft much more seriously and purchased 2 new guns in preparation for my first game at a proper airsoft field. But my load out feels so underwhelming that I'd love any advice on how I could improve my guns from stock. The p90 functions well but I would like a higher fire rate along with a much more responsive trigger but I dont think I need to increase fps itself (no chrono but i think its shooting hot as is) so does anybody have tips on motors they'd use along with tips on how i could change out the trigger and install a mosfet or some other function that aids in semi auto. I'm brand new but I've done a bit of research, however I dont wanna buy any parts unless I'm sure they are compatible.

Without a chrono to measure your FPS/Power (J) output it's difficult to pass judgement. Out of curiosity what sort of battery are you using?

One of the forum members performed an extensive rebuild of a CYMA P90 which contained a lot of useful information, although there maybe some differences between the Cybergun version and the CYMA (not sure which company actually makes the Cybergun version off hand). The thread should be easy enough to find through the search function.

Rate of Fire is a bit of a divisive topic but you can very quickly exceed what most players consider reasonable. In terms of trigger pull there's only so much you can due to the nature of the design, however, installation of a suitable MOSFET can provide improvements n this area along with others.

Thanks man I appreciate the help, I'm using a NiMH 9.6v 1100mah battery that came with the gun itself, I also ordered a 7.4v brick type since my brother was getting one for his aug but I doubt it will fit in this gun. For the gun itself I'm not too interested in those jaw dropping fire rates you see on YouTube just something with atleast a noticeable improvement, and something that can effectively run the .28s I plan on using in my sidearm to give a nice boost in range. Overall I'm not too worried about price but would like to keep it cheap yet reliable. Also on another note I have been noticing the grips are exceedingly smooth and so I was wondering about some sort of sandpaper-esque finish on the gripping surface for a better handling, have you ever dealt with aftermarket stippling or other sorta texturizing services?

This will help you. The Cybergun is just a rebadged Cyma. 

To help improve ROF without going into the gearbox you can use a 9.9v LiFE battery. You cant do much about the trigger directly, though a basic non AB Mosfet and a LiFE battery will make a fair difference.

If you don't mind changing the motor then a SHS/Rocket 16TPA Motor would be a really good upgrade that will help with the ROF and trigger response immensely.

The Hop unit is compatible with a Maple Leaf Macaron and Maple Leaf Ohm nub. It is very easy to install and will hop at the very least .3s. 

Don't bother with stippling or sandpaper, The pistol grip design means it is very hard to lose your grip and you'll be wearing gloves anyway.
