Companies with H&K Licensing

Hey Guys,

I went to Gunman Airsoft Midlands yesterday and they have a Umarex UMP that is licensed by H&K.

I was wondering which companies have the H&K licensing rights?

And I've read that Umarex don't make their own guns they just re-brand them and sell them on.

If this is the case does anyone know who makes the UMP for Umarex? The Umarex UMP is a fair bit cheaper than the Ares and G&G ones so I was wondering if they're made by a cheaper company and if I should avoid it?

Yeah umarex hold the licence and rebrand stuff.

CA, g&g, ares and double eagle all make umps, not sure which is the umarex one though.

Umarex UMP is OEM by S&T,a clone of the ares version.

G&G UMP is the only good one IMO,from what i've heard the S&T UMP is pretty pants.

Ok, thanks for that. I just read a review for the Double Eagle UMP and it was shocking.

It looks like I'd be better to save the extra cash and buy the G&G one.
