Combro Mk.4 Chronograph

Has any had any experience with these chronographs with airsoft guns before? I'm tempted to get one to test my cm16 but it it will also come in handy with my pcp air rifle as the gun shop charge £30 to chrono a gun anyway so seems like a good investment?

I picked an earlier model up a few years ago (same externally as the Mk4) and its been a great investment when working on airsoft guns. Its not as versatile as a Madbull or similar though. Mine has to be reset for each shot and only measures velocity. Downsides are its only any good on guns with tubular (ie parallel to the barrel bore) barrels/flash hiders, any sort of slant or projection makes it impossible to use, also it needs a good 2-3 inches or so of said barrel to mount it so that rules out most SMG's, AK47's etc. but for most M4, M14, M16, FN FAL and similar types its great.

Okay thanks i'll give one a go, it will be useful for airsoft checking my gun is inside the permitted fps for a site.

Had one of these years ago, not as versatile as 3200x etc but they worked. British company also. Not looked at their website for about 8 years and it's not changed haha. Just wished these guys would have pushed their product a little further, I'm sure they could have made a product more suitable for the Airsoft market.

Yeah - it's cheap and it works. Just a bit fiddly - I've shot mine across the garden a couple of times by mis-aligning it! Still works and the company that makes it can supply and all spare parts really quickly.

Certainly worth the investment to save you turning up with a hot gun (or disappointingly not so hot in my case) after upgrades etc...

yeah I can see it being sent down the garden if I buggered up the alignment on the air rifle ahaha, I'll probably buy one then as they seem to work for people, I made the mistake of buying an element e1000 from the airsoftclub which is a piece of crap.
