hi all i started looking for my combat boots now a good decent pair i can get are from cadet direct but i don't know if there any cheaper as these come to £179 for decent pair and good shoe size as im 6 but i don't know to go bigger because of thick socks

You dont normally need to go a size up with boots its expected that you wear thick socks with them, which boots are you looking at ?

I think he's looking at the Alt-Berg boots or Magnum boots Cadet Direct sells. As these are your first boots, why not save a little and buy yourself a pair of British Assault boots? Mine cost £40 and have lasted me almost 2 years of heavy usage

If your happy spending that kind of dollar on boots I'd go for lowa boots. Best by far I have ever worn.

Also cadet direct is a bloody rip off!

But as said for a first pair of boots you can't go wrong with some issue assault boots.

im interested in the magnums and there cheaper than what i was expecting

A good pair of Mark one full leather combat boots are all a man needs. Water proof, tough and suitable for all terrains. Mine has lasted me years of hard heavy use.

And where would people reccomend for getting my woodland camo

It depends on what your after, there's plenty of CS95 on eBay or in surplus shops, my old CS95 has lasted much longer than my MTP stuff

And what about knee pads where can I find them

My magnum stealths were £45. They usually sell for £90

Just have a look at these retailers, they sell everything to do with airsoft weapons and tactical equipment:

Have a good look through all these sites, you may be able to find all the things you need on them.

You did know that Cadet Direct sells kneepads? Just type into the search bar on their site

dont forget http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/index.php (not everyone likes them due to there forums, but i have had great experiences with the shop)

This crew have CS95 gear pretty cheap & brit issue assault boots - but if i were you, i'd go for German Para Boots (in fact i did go for a 2nd pair - it took about 20yrs to wear my 1st pair out) - they're more comfortable.

And Patrol Base are ok for that stuff too. As has been said though, the best deals are on fleabay.

Oh yeah - Viper knee pads are shite.

for boots i would say Gortex Pro Boots are the best. i have had mine nearly 6 years and they are still in good condition. they have padding so are comfy and warm but are sturdy like the assault boots. they are basically the same price as assault boots as well.

BCB kneepads are pretty cheap, I used them on a weekend where I was repeatedly kneeling and throwing myself about when bumped by the other team. Only issue was that they were slipping while I ran, whereas my mate's Kombat kneepads weren't. Either way, I paid £9 for mine and he paid £20 for his.

BCB make some real crap! but theres stuff they make which is boss.

Try google! Has a handy tool that searches the interweb and finds stuff with the click of your mouse!

I know, I got a BCB credit card tool and it was pretty bulletproof, but a guy I know bought their multi-tool and it broke within a month. Kinda serves him right, he was too tight to buy a Leatherman or a Gerber :D
