Choosing a new gun.

Cheaper getting it from Zero-one, £160 and the 2-toning is free...

After reading the AW description the blowback has been removed from their version, but not the Zero-one version
it's more expensive on zeroone (£185). Shame that the AW version has no blowback... i would quite like it... plus i hate two tone green. Could i buy the G&G pneumatic blowback mech somewhere?

It wouldn't be worth the money to get hold of the parts I dont think.

It could be them asking to remove it just because it's one less part to be broken, but they haven't worded it that way.

I'll guess i'll get it anyway. I just love the blue on it, it's not too bright unlike other guns. And it's just blowback i'm sacrificing for it. It shouldn't be too much of a loss although it would be awesome to have.

Until reading the 2nd page I was about to just come up here and say "shut up about uniqueness for once and get an M4" and it turns out you did. Get something that works instead of trying to be "unique" as a starter gun M4's are great and have many upgrades and parts and many spares. They save so much money and they work. They are the perfect platform.

This is kinda my last chance for my mum to buy me gun, so i don't want to spoil it with a gun i don't like. But it turns out that MOE styled guns suit me.

Yeah I've been thinking of replacing my rail system with an MOE hand-guard and attach an MOE stock and handgrip once I get my UKARA in just longer than 2 years. Problem with SRC's is that they don't accept P-Mags or E-Mags so I'll have to stick with the good old STANAGs.

ok, just a note, my budget has been stretch to OVER £200! So now my mum doesn't mind too much if i get a 200 quid gun. SO preferably my budget now is below £230. I was thinking of getting a G&G Gr4 gr26 but since my budget has been stretched, should I go for a top tech G&G gun or ICS?

Zero one have 15% off some g&g top tech guns ATM ;)

If you need to have it 2 toned, there's no point in getting something over £180. Sure, you'd have a nice gun, but it'd be in a nasty VCRA compliant colour.

Tbh I'd stick with your previous choice and get some combat equipment, a good pair of boots or some bits for the gun (like extra mags) with the remainder of the budget.

yeh, i guess that's kinda right, I mean the GR26 on airsoftworld is in the best looking two tone blue i've seen which is not that bright.

But i guess i'll stick with GR26, Mabull tighbore and Beta project Pmags box set which all add up to around £230. Which my mum is fine with but i'll need to save up a bit more.

yer i totally agree, get a half decent two tone, get some bits to put on it, hi caps and mid cap mags. a sight, sling, battery, charger, decent ammo. theres always more extras,

Well that's that until i find another good looking gun in not very bright two tone colours!

@Mack his parent is covering the gun costs, I'm assuming he'll be buying the TBB and the P-mags himself. They don't have an age restriction

hmm.... 20% off on ICS rifles at wolfarmouries... and they do a decent two tone blue.... might look into it
