Checking someones UKARA number

Hey guys.

I've started to grow a somewhat large collection of RiFs since getting my UKARA number, and I think it's time to get rid of some.

How do you go about checking someones number? Do you guys use the ukara self checker then get your buyer to forward the mail? Or how do you guys do it?

ring a retailer and ask them to do a check for you.

Checking the UKARA number is not your only option. Checking that could be difficult as a private seller. I think access is restricted to retailers who have joined up and paid to use the database.

You could ask where they skirmish and call the site for confirmation. Or ask for a scan copy of their site membership card if they have one.

I have never had a problem with a retailer checking a UKARA number for me.

You can also use this, but you do need some details to do it.
