But back on Ghosts, it could be good, or very shit... hopefully the story will be good and it will be like a film ]

There hasn't a good one since 4, i cant see this being any different to be honest, it'll have better graphics but the fan-base will be the same and I doubt they're going to take a risk by changing how it plays.

Still, there might be a survival mode or something- the one saving grace in the last 3 :lol:

New game engine, *still* in DX9; eh no I won't be buying that.

(for reference the old engine was in effect a tweaked version of the Quake 3 Arena, which was first used in 1999, DX9 was released in 2002, the fact that each new iteration of CoD since 4 has claimed improved graphics is utter tosh because of the limitations of both the engine and DX9 as well)

I don't get why the half the CoD fanbase hasn't packed it's bags and switched to Battlefield. CoD is getting worse in every title the publishers bring out, and Battlefield seems to be getting more like CoD all the time whilst still retaining the BF franchise's original selling points.

Tbh with the amount of competition emerging this year, I'm not sure if the CoD franchise will be able to keep it's head above the water in the coming years.

Just seen the trailer. Meh. Not sure I like the graphics. Thought it looked abit like MW3 Customization's cool, same with weapons and the dynamic maps. I'll still buy it, but i'm not blown away by it :/ It's got sigs though...

Thoughts? I thought they seem to nicking a lot of ideas of other games here. Looks like they're running out of steam. Can't believe im saying this, but the destruction looks better than battlefield's. Bet it's restricted to certain pieces of the map though.

Yeah! I just saw too many clips that could easily have been in the MW3 reveal, and looked right, graphics wise and scenarios. Squads feature= CoD's Ultimate Team :L I look forward to them releasing more gameplay!

'Cos he's been doing this playthrough of a game called "Two Brothers" on the XBL Arcade, it's a pretty low budget game, bit of a platform style, but the twist is that one stick controls one brother, and the other, controls the other. But for the sticks to work at all, you have to hold a shoulder button down.

So it sounds like the controls are a bit of a mind fuck, but that's where the game gets its pull. Which is a good job because it's nothing special otherwise.

There's this part in it though, when they jump in this pool full of fish and he's splashing about for like 2 minutes before noticing the fish swimming away from the player lol and he goes, "Fish AI, man. That's all I'm gonna say."

I thought it was pretty funny. As is the playthrough in general tbh, and JackFrags is epic, should totes sub to him.

Have just watched some of the reveal trailers and MP trailers and personally, I can't wait to play it. Have enjoyed pretty much all of the CoD titles right from the very first one.

Aha, same! I personally thought BO2 didn't look that good, but when I got my hands on it I loved it! Still can't beat MW2 though

MW2 and MW3 for me personally. Used to enjoy CoD WaW but the multiple was littered with so many bugs it just became unplayable for me. I thought BO2 was pretty decent, but still find myself coming back to MW3!
